About Heidi Saller
Professional Background
My passion for facilitating intentional connections is a culmination of years of training, professional and personal experiences. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Social Science and Community Mental Health from University of Buffalo, my Masters of Science in Education and School Counseling Certification from SUNY Brockport, and Leadership Coaching Certification from The Leadership Coaching Certificate Program (certified by the International Coaching Federation). While my trainings and professional experiences have equipped me to work with people like you, I also acknowledge how my personal experiences have shaped what I value.
Personal
Woven into the tapestry of my professional experiences, was the privilege of walking alongside my sister, Alicia, through her journey with advanced cancer. When she passed in 2020, I spent the next three years reflecting on what this tragedy was meant to teach me. I leaned heavily on community support, my husband, family/friends, the gifts of motherhood, and Mother Nature to keep me on my enriching path. Sure enough, that little ember that sparked during my sister’s journey grew into a pure understanding of what it means to live intentionally and have clarity on what I value.
Valuing My Boundary with Technology
I think it’s safe to say, I am one of the few left in the world that has never owned a smartphone or a social media account. This choice has been intentional as I identify as a Highly Sensitive Person . I know my boundaries for stimulation, and find that keeping my exposure to Supernatural Stimulation needs to be in-check. While I don’t own a smartphone, I cautiously understand the benefits of the digital world and have a strong passion to help others learn how to connect with intent.
